The ByteTime Story
ByteTime began as a friendship among four boys in kindergarten at Cimarron Elementary in Katy, Texas. They bonded through high school sports, learning the value of loyalty and teamwork. After high school, three of the four went on to honorably serve their country in the U.S. Military, while the fourth pursued higher education. Along those different paths, each built the expertise — in cybersecurity, IT, and care for the people behind the systems — that would become the foundation of the firm.
In 2007, Scott Fleenor put that expertise to work, founding Byte Time Computing as a practice serving businesses in New Braunfels and San Antonio. In 2010, the four friends came together to found the company that operates today as ByteTime, extending the same care to the Greater Houston area. By 2012, the two practices had united under one name — and a childhood friendship became a firm.
Loyalty, honesty, commitment, and hard work set that foundation. In the nearly two decades since, ByteTime has stewarded the mission-critical systems of more than 500 partner operations across eight states, three countries, and two U.S. territories — and brings that same care to every partnership it holds today.
